IBEW Local Union 611 finished the 14 kw Photovoltaic System on our Hall in November of 2010 and
it was commissioned in December. The photovoltaic modules are Union manufactured by
Sharp in Memphis, Tennessee.

Installation was done by signatory contractor U.S. Electric of Albuquerque, NM, which is just one of
our contractors that are finding a niche in photovoltaic field. Thanks to Affordable Solar which
sold this 14 kw system to us at cost.

This has been a long awaited project. We would like to thank all the committee members that participated in bringing this to fruition and to the Local Union 611 Building Corporation for approval.

Chris Frentzel, Business Manager of Local Union 611 has other alternative energy projects slated for
the future with a possible solar tracker and carport with photovoltaic as the cover.

Thanks to Business Manager Chris Frentzel, Local Union 611 is
now committed to alternative energy.
