In May of 2025, IBEW Local 611 hosted the 7th District Progress meeting here in Albuquerque at the Isleta Hotel and Casino. Officers and representatives from all over the Southwest came to New Mexico and met with one another on many subjects, including but not limited to the state of affairs of all the offices within the district’s jurisdiction and the concerns regarding its union members and all the Local(s) business.
