Endorsement for Alexandria Piland in Rio Rancho Mayoral Race
Rio Rancho Mayor’s Race heading to Runoff.
The Rio Rancho mayor's race is now a runoff between the IBEW 611-endorsed candidate—Alexandria C. Piland—and her opponent, Paul M. Wymer.
During the general election, no single candidate received a majority of the votes cast for the office on March 3, 2026. So now the two candidates who received the highest number of votes for the office will face off in the runoff election. More information about the runoff election, including early voting and voting locations, will be released and made available soon.
