Biden-Harris Administration Announces New Standards for Made-in-America National Network of Electric Vehicle Chargers

The Biden-Harris Administration has been working to create a convenient, reliable and made-in-America electric vehicle charging network. Senate Bill 165 is being heard at the Capitol tomorrow in Senate Conservation. We are opposing Senate Bill 165, which contains language that will directly affect utility workers and New Mexico rate payers purchasing power from coops or utilities. "It is worth noting that if existing electric utilities that are asked to provide metering, billing, collection, and customer service for local utilities, rates for the remaining customers will almost certainly increase". IBEW President Lonnie R. Stephenson retiring January 4th, 2023

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers President Lonnie R.
